The owners of this small builder cape wanted to add a master bedroom and a great room, and also change the overall look of the house. We responded with a post and beam look on the front of the house, where we added the porch, Master suite wing and dormer, and carried it through to the interior of the great room addition at the rear. The great room features heavy timber trusses, large windows and french doors, and a stone fireplace.
